Wanda W. recently retired from Fairfax County Public Schools August 1, 2005, after 32 years of service. She was an elementary classroom teacher for seventeen years. In 1991, Wanda served in the newly created position of science/technology resource teacher at the central level. Her primary responsibilities were to facilitate the seamless integration of technology into the elementary science curriculum and assist with the planning, designing and teacher training in the use of basic technology productivity skills. For over a decade, Wanda was also an FCPS instructional technology trainer for enterprise initiatives. Wanda last FCPS position was that of Instructional Technology Project Manager. Wanda has presented at numerous regional and national conferences and is the creator of the 5W/5E Technology Integration model;
